What Causes Pulmonary Neuroendocrine Tumour?

Trying to find a thoracic surgeon in south orange county, CA. My husband has an immune-endocrine tumor in his lung. We want to find someone who can do the minimally invasive surgery, going in through his back, not cracking his ribs again (had 5bypass in May 09.). We have Anthem Blue Cross insurance PPO exclusive.

Noted you have neuroendocrine tumour of lung..It is variant of small cell malignancy of lung.There is no specific cause for it.
Smoking related to its development...

You can consult surgeon for it .
If possible it can be surgically excised..
Radiotherapy and platinum based chemotherapy available ...
Octreotide like hormonal injection available for its treatment...
Certain minimal invasive surgery available like radio frequency ablation...
