What Causes Prosthetic Testicle Lump Pain?

Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here...I am 34 and have had a prosthetic testicle since three. I have recently felt pain in a bump in the prosthetic testicle upon touch. I have had this "bump" since it was put it so I am 100% sure it is not some sort of growth. What could this be?

Urologist 's  Response
Hello and welcome to HCM.
As an Urologist, let me advise you to mention your present age.
If possible, mention the type of prosthesis placed and for how long you've felt this pain over the 'bump'.
In many cases, prosthesis, can get tissue reaction, and be rejected by the body. You're advised to have a scrotal doppler ultrasound scan.
If you can get your blood routine tests with blood counts and creatinine, it will be more informative. Get examined by your doctor with all reports.
You're welcome to send the reports here to me, for an expert opinion.
