What Causes Prolonged Periods Along With Pain In Abdomen?

I need help desperately...I have been having severe problems with my ovaries.. I keep going to doctors and they tell me nothing is wrong... if nothing is wrong then why am I in so much pain all the time and why have I been having my period for 7 months straight now with no breaks... I cant take it anymore its affecting every part of my life and now I have to be on short term disability to try and figure out what is wrong... I try and work but im in to much pain to work... I am going to lose everything I have worked so hard for if I can not get this figured out. they say my paps are good.. my cervix looks good. but half the time when they do an internal sonogram they cant even find my left ovary. and when I have gas or have to have a BM the pain just intensifies ten fold.. im starting to think it might be linked... I don t know what else to do.. please someone help me..

Hello and welcome to HCM,
Menstrual cycles for continuous 7 months without any break is a menstrual disorder and it needs to be investigated as early as possible.
You need to get an ultrasound abdomen along with endometrial curretings or biopsy.
Endometrial biopsy samples a part of uterine wall to know the status of uterine glands and stroma.
Hormonal imbalance is the most common cause of menstrual disorder.
The associated pain is probably related to menstrual irregularity.
If the pain is of cramping nature, you can take anti-spasmodic e.g. dicyclomine to control the pain.
Definitive treatment can be planned after clinical assessment and relevant investigations.

Thanks and take care
