What Causes Prolonged Diarrhea?
my 23 year old daughter has had loose stools for 3 weeks. Takes Birth control pills, no other meds. Is under a lot of stress in her teaching position. No extreme pain associated with it. I feel that she needs to see a medical doctor. What could be possible reasons for diarrhea lasting this long? As far as I know, she has not had fever, loss of appetite, or any other symptoms

Looking to the history it seems that she might be having Prius diarrhea due to psychological tension she is having.
Many a time loose motions might be due to this stress.
But it is advisable to go for stool test for ova or cyst or bacterial infection.
After report go for treatment accordingly.
Avoid stress or hurriness while going for job.
Take light diet and give her plenty of water.
Ok and take care.
