General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello
First see your doctor to find out if something treatable like thyroid disorder is the cause. If not then work on diet and exercise. If you are overweight getting to optimal weight can help regulate periods. Eat healthy foods with lots of fresh fruits and vegetables. Take a multivitamin daily. Exercise every day even if it is only walking for 30 minutes
Best regards
