What Causes Prolonged And Heavy Periods Along With Abdominal Cramps?

It s a personal question about my period. I started my period on December 22nd and its now December 29 the and its still bleeding heavy ad I have cramps as if I just started what could cause this it normally only last 4 days and on time. What could this be caused from?

I really appreciate concern, because of the hormone level changes such a menses bleeding is possible and it may be age related too which is not given here, hope this information helps.
