What Causes Problem In Swallowing And Drinking With Excessive Amount Of Mucus And Phlegm?

I have a problem swallowing food and drinks(especially cold ) and have had swallow test, scans, and other test that show nothing except some acid reflux. When this happens, I notice that there is an excessive amount of mucus and phlyem which adds to the problem. Why does this happen and what can I do to lessen it?

Are you a smoker or tobaco chewer. Some time even a common cold or flu can cause this type of symptoms. My advice for you is to first show to An ENT specialist. Drink gentle warm water with salt mixed. Take Lozen tablet to soothen your throat.
