What Causes Premature Heartbeats And Palpitations?

Hi. I was perscribed 875 mg of Amoxicillin and Clauvulanate Potassium tablets for a sinus infection and abcess. I have panic disorder so I am terrified of meds......I suffer from premature heartbeats and palpitations . Is this medication safe as an overall? Sorry to sound like a baby but was overdosed while in the hospital on morphine so I have trust issues with meds now. Only med I take is Xanax and prenatal vitamins for nutritional reasons.

Hi,
Welcome to Healthcaremagic.

Yes, this medication is safe for you. There no known contraindications between the two drugs also Amoxycilin is the only drugs with largest literature associated with it.
You must not take more then two tab per day of prescribed medication.

Hope my answer will help you and you will write to us if you feel any further assistance needed.
Regards
