What Causes Pounding Of Heart
lately i have had a sensation that my heart is pounding, but my pulse is normal. it happens mostly at night, and wakes me up from sleep. sometimes it also happens when i am relaxing on the couch. i have had tons of health related anxiety lately, but this especially weirds me out because i am not anxious when it happens and my pulse is about 80 bpm which is normal for me.

It's entirely normal phenomenon, you are awareness of your heart beat, it happens only when you are relaxing and your pulse rate is also normal. So i think it's not at all a pathological thing.
You should try to ignore it. Still if not getting relieved then You can get tab Ciplar LA 20 mg once a day prescribed from local doctor for few weeks.
