What Causes Post-menopausal Bleeding?

I m 53 with some vaginal bleeding and I m post-menopausal 3 years. My ob/gyn ordered a vaginal ultrasound that showed a small mass and blood. I went in for a D&C and a biospy but my doctor could not find my cervix. . She told my sister after surgery that I may have to have a hysterectomy. Why couldn t she find my cervix? Ten years ago I had 2 dermoid cyst removed via a surgical procedure with no issues. I had normal periods until I went into menopause

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, if the cervix not being removed then it has to be detected that is all else a doctor might not be able to found it out, it is better to have second surgical opinion hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
