What Causes Post Coital Bleeding And Hip Pain?

Hi, I am 22 years old and yesterday I experienced post coital bleeding. I thought It was my period starting but there was only a little more blood on my pad then nothing. Today I started having mild pain in my right side close to my hip. It isn t crippling pain but it s getting worse. And hurts worse when I walk. Could this just be lady problems I can brush off or do I need to see a dr ASAP?

OBGYN, Maternal and Fetal Medicine 's  Response
Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Post coital bleeding can be due to local lesions in cervix or vagina including cervical cancer. Hip pain can be due to muscular trauma or ligament injury.
I would suggest you to consult an OBGYN specialist to get properly examined, investigated using pap smear and Get treated accordingly. For hip pain, you should consult an orthopaedic surgeon.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
Wishing you good health.
