What Causes Positive Pregnancy Test Result While On Noresthisterone?

Hae Doc, I used emergency pills my periods came at a normal time but were light and took several days than usual in the course I had cramps and went to see a doc, I was given norethisterone which even after using there was a continuos brown discharge so i decided to take a home pt test and tested positive, could it be the medicine that affected the test? I have no other signs of pregnancy
