What Causes Positive Pregnancy Test Result After Abortion?

Hi, my name is amie. I am very worried because I had an abortion three weeks ago on friday as it wasn't the right time for me to have a baby. But I am going back to the hospital on friday for check up. Problem is I haven't been feeling myself for last few days so I took another pregnancy test and it said I was 2-3 weeks pregnant, how is this possible?

1.Its possible to have positive pregnancy test after abortion about 4-6weeks.
2.So don't have to worry about that.
3.But if you have an unprotected intercourse after the abortion - pregnancy can not be ruled out.
4.In this case get a check ultrasound scan done - fist to find out complete abortion and second presence of any sac / collection this will be confirmatory
5.Sugget you to have protected intercourse to avoid this kind of confusions in future, Good luck.
