What Causes Poor Sleeping Habits And Flashes In The Mind?

Hi doc I was in am very bad relationship with my husband for about 26 years I am presenting getting a divorce but i am having bad sleeping habits and flashes my mind runs and I am hearing sounds in my mind when I fall asleep I suddenly wake and my mind continu. e going and a lot of thought come I can t stop I feel so sick I am presenting using B12 B6.and 5_HPT I am using a prescribed blood pressure tablet s Enalapril and chlorthalidone could you say what is happening to me

Hi,

I can understand the stress that you are going through in your current situation. Failed marriage and divorce can take a toll on a person's life and it certainly seems that you are being affected by the same. You disturbed sleep and waking up in between are manifestations of stress.

You haven't mentioned about other symptoms. I would have wanted to know if you are feeling more irritable, or feeling like crying, regarding your appetite and your ability to carry on your daily chores. If you are having such symptoms, you might be having a depressive episode. I would suggest you seek a psychiatric consultation for your problems. Regular supportive sessions would do you good. You can also start doing exercise daily. Yoga and meditation would help too. Many people feel better if they are able to let out their emotions. you can do that regularly, either with some one close to you or you can start writing diary daily. Another option is to start medications. Anti-depressants like Escitalopram will help in your condition.
