What Causes Poor Appetite And Less Than Normal Weight?

PLease help. I think my mom may have an eating disorder. I made her step on the scale and she weighed 112. Shes 45 and im really worried that she may be under just as mjch pressure as teens like myself. She never eats. The first tgung ive seen her eat in days is a couple tator tots and she said she didnt even want them. I dont know what to do. Is it possible shes sick? And if so what can I do?

Lack of appetite can be due to many reasons, like chronic illnesses, ulcers, depression, eating disorders, etc. She needs a detailed evaluation to determine the exact cause of her problem.
