What Causes Pins And Needles In Leg/foot After Having Epidural Injection?

I had an epidural injection for lower lumbar pain and numbness in my left foot. Since the injection 6 days ago I have had increased pins and needle pain in my leg and foot that I did not have before. Is this expected? In fairness I had to do a lot of driving over the weekend which I am sure aggravated the situation

Good evening. Well it looks like the epidural may have irritated your nerve segment . And probably you have over exerted also. I will suggest you to consult a neurosurgeon at the earliest. You need to rule out any clot formed there which is compressing the nerve. If that is not the case, it will get better over time. But do consult at the earliest. Hope the information was useful
