What Causes Pink Vaginal Discharge During Pregnancy?
hello. first let me start off by saying i am eight weeks and four days pregnant. at about seven weeks i had my regular normal morning sickness and later when i used the bathroom i had a very very light pink color in my mucous looking discharge. no pain or anything. my discharge suddendly changed over the past couple days clumpy thick sticky white. i dont have any pains and i sill have morning sickness. i am scared that i may have had an miscarriage because all in all i no longer have that pregnant feeling. also my uterus doesnt seem lie its growing at all.
hii.. i have gone through your question and understand your concern about miscarriage. pink color mucoid discharge during pregnancy is most likely to be something called sub-choroidal hemorrhage (SCH) which means there is a small bleed behind the fetus where it gets attached to uterus. I understand it seems very scary but the only way to confirm is to have a trans-vaginal scan. I would suggest you to consult your treating doctor and get it done. If your scan does reveal a sub-choroidal bleed it can be managed with medication and it doesnt necessarily end in miscarriage. if there is no such bleed then you need not worry at all. So consult your obstetrician immediately and get the test done as early as possible. hope my answer helped you. if you have any more doubts please write to me i will be more than happy to help. goodluck.
