Hello and welcome to HCM,
Vaginal itching is most commonly caused due to fungal or yeast infection.
Fungal infection is treated with anti-fungal pessaries course which lasts for at least a week.
Use of anti-fungal for a day will not be able to clear the infection.
However, the anti-fungal treatment should be taken after prescription from a gynecologist.
Thus, I suggest you to consult a gynecologist for clinical assessment and thus prescription of appropriate medication.

Thanks and take care
