What Causes Persistent Vaginal Bleeding Despite Taking Cerazette?
I ve been taking a double dose of cerazette for approx 6 months to help control bleeding & hormones. All has been great, however I started with light bleeding 5 days ago & its still continuing. Is this normal? My Dr said double dose would stop bleeding altogether, so naturally I m a little concerned. I m 46.
Some times the pill can cause a breakthrough bleed and it should be light as you are experiencing. Don't worry too much about it, and revisit your doctor if it lasts for longer than 7-10 days. Some women also require a D&C if the bleeding persists for too long or increases in amount. So keep an eye on it.
Best wishes.
