Hi,

I am sorry for the situation your father is in.

1. If he has swollen legs all the time is due to:
- heart problems: cardiac tests and cardiologist consultation is needed
- local blood vessels problems : Doppler ultrasound of leg's blood vessels is advised
- liver problems: abdominal ultrasound and liver function test is recommended
- I also advise to measure his blood electrolytes to rule out imbalances.

2. Apart neurologist, I also advise to consult with:
- cardiologist
- angiologist

to rule out related problems.

All the best!
