What Causes Persistent Sore Throat And Nasal Blockage With Stuffiness?

Hello, I have been suffering from a persistent sore throat for four months now. I also have a blockage/stuffness on one side of my nasal passages. I have had an endoscopic examination which ruled out throat cancer, but could this have missed a cancer in the sinuses?

Hello and welcome to HCM,
Presence of sore throat and stuffiness of nose over a period of four months suggests chronic upper respiratory tract infection.
Growth in the throat is ruled out by clinical examination.
Chronic sinusitis is a possibility.
You need to consult an ENT specialist for clinical assessment and relevant investigations.
X-ray of the sinuses is needed to look for infection and inflammation of the sinuses.
Growth in the sinuses can also be ruled out by relevant investigations.

Thanks and take care
