I am writing this for relative of mine that I am concerned about. she has nausea and vomits almost every day. It happens sporadically. Sometimes a smell triggers it, sometimes not. Most of the time it just comes onto her. She is 28 and has three children . she is not: pregnant, on birth control, on any medications. She does not even take over the counter pain killers. She says it does get worse a week before her period, then it subsides, but still occurs quite a bit throughout the day. She does not get dizzy, lightheaded, diarrhea, abdominal or any other kind of pain, no confusion, weakness in the body, rapid breathing or pulse. Food poisoning is out of the question because it has been going on for about a year. She does not over eat. She does not have any ulcers. She used to drink at least one to two alcoholic beverages a day, but has cut that down to maybe 3 or 4 a week. She does not drink soda. She does drink coffee and/or tea, but not excessive amounts. She has no allegies. I m thinking it could be hormonal in nature? Maybe too much iron in her diet? Also thinking it might be psychological. She has no history of bulimia or anorexia. Could it be stress related?
