What Causes Persistent Itching All Over The Body Despite Using Cortisone Cream?
I skin has been itching for over two months now I have gone to my doctor and she restricted my diet to avoid foods that are known allergans. She sent me to a dermatologist and she gave me Econazole to put on my skin along with cortisone cream but so far nothing is helping. Would an allergist be the next step?

I really appreciate your concern, if this is the allergic disorders causes the itching then difficult to know the allergen unless specific test done, but it can be well managed with oral second generation anti-histamine and best drug is Tab Levocetirizine 10 mg three times in day hope this information helps.
