What Causes Persistent Hot Flashes Along With Gradual Weight Gain?

I have had hot flashes for More than 15 years now. But in The last 6 months I m not so sure these are hot flashes. It is constant excessive. I stopped antidepressants about 6 months ago to see if that would help. I ve had thyroid tested its in normal range. I m at a loss and very frustrated. It s affecting my life like no other I am 56 and about 20lbs heavier than I d like to be. Weight gain has happened over last year! I ve had three back surgeries and take hydrocodone and methadone for pain. I have a strict pain management physician.

I really appreciate your concern, over all it is the functional kind of disease you have of this may needs some antipsychiatrist drug and for that you have to see the psychiatrist but you can come out of this even without the drug and for that you need to control your thoughts, be positive, and confident stop worrying, try some exercise, be happy and it will be fine, hope this information helps.
