Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hi there.

Thanks for the query.

The fact is that quite a radical surgery had been done in her. Usually due to prolonged pain and deformity this surgery can be done, combined with hip joint fusion in adults.

There may be pain due to various factors like non union of the fusion, infection, Fracture etc.

Certain laboratory tests like ESR or CRP and blood count could give clue to infection.

Kindly days with your Orthopaedic surgeon regarding these possibilities and decide the best treatment for your kid.

Thanking you.

Regards,

Dr. Aashish Raghu
