Hi Pratima hope you doing well. I would like to inform you that problem you are suffering from is so common , particularly in Indian woman. Though you were not able to describe detail about your headache, I guess you suffering from migraine type headache. There are two types of treatment in that. one is prophylactic means to prevent headache to be occur. Second is pain killers which treat the headache as soon as occur. Prophylactic includes Propranolol, flunarizine, amitryptiline, flupirtine maleate, which is given according to patient s physical and working profile after evaluation by treating doctor. Second part includes NSAIDs and Triptan group medicines which are used to treat headache as soon as it occurs. To rule out other causes of headache, you should go for measurement of blood pressure,menstrual history, visual check up for refraction (specs), sinusitis if you have recurrent common cold and cough and tension headache as well as cluster headache. Treatment of all of above easily available. You can just visit good physician near by and discuss what I have informed you and you can get the treatment.
