What Causes Persistent Fatigue After Typhoid Fever?

I am 32, 5'2", 128 lbs. I had typhoid fever 2 years ago. I was treated for it, but since then I am always feeling fatigued. I feel like I could sleep all the time, although I don't because I have responsibilities, and I have no energy. I've tried exercise, rest, and changing my diet. My CBC and CMP are normal, and I am considered healthy. I just don't feel like I have as much energy as I did before contracting typhoid. Is this normal?

Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
Typhoid fever can leads to weakness but it is just for a few weeks. If you have feel weakness since 2 year then there must be some other cause.
Check your hemoglobin, sugar level and thyroid hormone level. Give me follow up with results. SO that I can help you further.

Hope I have answered your question. If you have any doubts then feel free to ask me. I will be happy to answer.
Thanks for using health care magic. Wish you a very good health.
