Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have been dealing with right ear pain for a week now.. went to urgent care 4 days ago - stated no ear infection, but sound like tunnel and echo in my ear- sometime sharp pain and my head feels swollen.....was told to take Flonase, hopefully would go away-
Your symptoms can be probably due to infection in ear only and the tunnel or echo sound can be due to fluid behind the ear drum..
If there are continuous sounds from ear then it can be due to ringing in ears or Tinnitus..
So my suggestion is to consult a Physician and get evaluated and a course of antibiotics should also be prescribed along with anti inflammatory painkillers and nasal decongestants..
Antibiotics and analgesic ear drops can also help in relieving faster..
Hope this helps..
Regards..
