What Causes Persistent Ear Pain Despite Taking Antibiotics For An Ear Infection?
I have had ear infection since April went to urgent care they saud i had swimmers ears they gave me 2 antibiotics never helped tgen went to my primary doctor he gave me different antibiotics they never helped been waiting to see ent drpbut have to wait to the 18th my ear is so bad that the back if my ear is budged out and i am in so much pain should i go to the hospital for help

Moreover mastoiditis like infection also can be the possibility
Your Otoscopy ear examination and x ray of skull esp for mastoid is needed
If pus present in Otoscopy visualization swab can be taken for culture
