What Causes Persistent Diarrhea Despite Taking Medications?

My daughter is two year old and suffering from vomiting and dysentery. After local doctor consultancy who give cifixime, ( given 1dose) ondansetron ( 2 doses, one yesterday night ) & lanzol( 1dose) , her vomiting stopped however she is having watery loose motion. And not takening any food as well. Please suggest if i need to change medicine and to add any for stopping motions.

Hello. Thanks for asking Healthcare Magic. Watery loose motion can be a side effect of cefixime. I would suggest to take lactobacillus sachet once a day for loose motions. You can continue with cefixime and lanzol. If the condition does not improve then consult your GP. Thanks
