What Causes Persistent Cough, Drop In Energy Levels And Low Grade Fever?
I m 44yrs old (female) my normal temperature is 96.8*F but got sick with an upper respiratory infection 6 month ago. Since then I have not been able to get rid of the cough. Everyday around mid day my energy level drops with a low grade fever. I ve had to have 2 iron infusions, seen an immunologist, and an oncologist. All my blood test are coming back with in normal range. What could they be missing?
Out of these three, post nasal drip is the most common. In some persons the drip is silent and the person is not aware that it is occurring. It is normally in response to a particular allergen and is treated with avoiding the allergen, topical nasal sprays and oral anti histamines.
You may want to see if this treatment may help with your cough.
I hope this helps
