What Causes Persistent Cold And How To Treat It?

Hi, I have been suffering from cold for more than a year from now. First I caught cold in USA when I went to a botanical park in Jan last year. My cold starts with sneezes and then runny nose. Its really disturbing me alot when I am at work. I took some antibiotics but still no use. Please help me in this respect. I am 27 years old. This is the first time I faced this problem from 27 years.

Hello,

Welcome to HCM and thanks for your query.
You have allergic rhinitis and not just a cold.
Antibiotics are of no use as you have discovered.
You require a non sedating second generation antihistamine and a nasal steroid spray to control your symptoms.
If you have further queries, you are welcome.
Take care
Dr. Noble Zachariah
