What Causes Periodic Chest Pain And Irregular Urination In Men?

Hello I was wondering if someone can help me determine if my fiance has a serious medical condition. He is and has been extremely thin his whole life. He works out everyday and eats very well. I recently had his thyroid checked and the tests came back fine. He suffers from chest pains periodically usually following strenuous work. He urinates infrequently and immediately after eating he needs to sleep. When he was a teenager had surgery on one of his kidneys for some type of blockage. Any ideas

General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Chest pain can be related to any structure in the chest from the skin inwards- skin, muscles and bones, heart, lung, esophagus.
Anxiety and stress can also cause pain.

If he has chest pain with activity, heart or lung disease should be ruled out by examination and tests such as an ECG and chest x ray.

After eating, because of the increase in blood flow to the gastrointestinal tract, some persons can become drowsy.
This may not necessarily indicate any problems.

I hope this helps
