Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My husband is 65 years old with a h/o prostate CA in 2003 .PSA has been normal since then, he reported a small amount of red spotting/bleeding states it could have been after urination not sure, he noticed it after he came home from work.He also erectile disfunction so there is no semen.
Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic. I can understand your concern. He is having hematuria. He is also a prostate cancer survivor. So we should definitely rule out recurrence of prostate cancer and urinary tract infection in his case. So get done urinary microscopic examination, ultrasound prostate and endoscopic examination of urethra. If all these are normal then no need to worry much. Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wishing good health to your husband. Thanks.
