What Causes Penile Bleeding After Intercourse?

Hi during a recent intercourse I noticed bleeding through my penis foredoomed stretch. I immediately washed it with cold water and the bleeding stoped in 3-4 mins and there s no pain. There s just a collection of some skin on top of the penis. Do I need to use some cream and how much time will it take to heal
