Hi,

Stool color depend on the what you eat and how long food stays in your intestines. Green stool may be caused by:

- Green leafy vegetables, green food coloring, such as in flavored drink mixes or ice pops, iron supplements

- Food may be moving through the intestine too quickly. As a result, bile doesn't have time to break down completely.

Green stool color may not be a cause for concern. However, if it becomes persistent with other digestive manifestations like abdominal pains, diarrhea, mucous stool or bloody stool you see your doctor for examination.

Hope this will help. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Best regards,
