What Causes Partial Loss Of Vision In The Left Eye?

I just had a partial loss of vision in my left eye that lasted about five minutes. This happened about a month ago in the middle of a migraine headache, but has never happened before. I am not having a migraine now and otherwise I feel fine. Do I need to see a doctor immediately or can this wait?
