What Causes Palpitations?

For the past few months, I've found that every now and then my heart will beat really fast and hard. On other occasions It will miss a beat then go back to normal. It doesn't hurt me in any way but when I was in the shower the other day I had to sit myself down as I was short of breath and felt faint. Is that anything to worry about?

I have gone through your question and
Appreciate your concern.
U r probably suffering from arrhythmia.
That is abnormal heart rhythm.
It may be atrial fibrillation or
Supraventricular tachycardia.
It is Better to consult cardiologist and get
Ecg done.
If required holter monitoring can also been
Done.
Antiarrhythmic drugs can take care of your
Problem.
Thanks.
U can write me back for any query.
