What Causes Palpitations And Pressure Around My Heart?
I just had a wierd experience. The best way I can explain it is I felt like my heart quit beating and pressure was building there was no pain at all . then when the pressure was going away there were floaters everywhere. I couldn t talk and I felt like I was going faint maybe . I don t know it was wierd.
From your description it seems you have either extrasystolies (premature heart contractions) or short arrhythmias. In case of extrasystolies small amount during the day is not abnormal. But if you feel every other extrasystoly you may need a treatment. In it is an arrhythmia, the strategy depends on the type of arrhythmia. For finding out what is the cause of your complains, you need to undergo ECG, if ECG doesn't show anything, then there will be a need for holter monitoring, which is an examination, during which an 24 hour ECG is recorded.
Hope I could help you
Wishing you good health
