What Causes Palpitations Along With Profuse Sweating?

I went riding my bike on an 80 degree day. When I arrived home, my heart was pounding really hard, I was sweating immensly, I felt tension in my neck, I felt faint when standing, and I saw bright colors creeping in from the sides, top and bottom of my eyes. This was reacurring for the next day and a half. I went the hospital thinking I was having a heart attack. They did blood tests, said there was nothing wrong with me and sent me home. After I arrived home, I walked the dog and when I bent over to pick up hlis droppings, I felt the problem again. I feel weak and distraught. Please help me.

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Possibility of heat stroke is more likely.
You rode bike in hot weather. This is the cause for your heat stroke. Sweating, palpitations, headache, fatigue, lethargy etc are commonly seen after heat stroke.
So better to avoid sun for 1-2 days. Stay and cool place with air conditioner on.
Drink plenty of fluids orally (4 liters per day) and fruit juices.
You can take paracetamol for headache.
Don't worry, you will be alright with all these.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
I find this answer helpful
