What Causes Palpitation Of Heart And Severe Belching With Indigestion?

I have been having a fluttering in my heart for almost two weeks. It's doing it more often now. The past two days I have been belching a lot and have had indigestion. Went to ER about a week ago and they did an EKG and said heart looked ok. I went almost all day Wed without it and thought I was better but then it started back again the very next day. Dr. also did an EKG and said it looked ok. Something is not right. Please help.

Hello and welcome to HCM,
Palpitation do not always suggest heart abnormality.
Palpitations can also occur in anxiety states.
Thus, a normal EKG rules out cardiac dysfunction.
However, you can consult a cardiologist and get an echo cardiograph for more detailed cardiac examination.
Belching is suggestive of indigestion thus fatty and spicy foods should be avoided.
Take light food and avoid beverages like tea, coffee and alcohol.

Thanks and take care
