What Causes Pains In The Mouth And Gums?

Every time I burn the roof of my mouth on hot food or graze it on crunchy food I end up after a day or so with pains in my gums, face ( sinus regions) ears and head. I'm 40 and in good health generally. I suffer with RSI in my hands and arms. Is this normal?

Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns.

As per your complain it seems that you take very hot foods leading to the burning and pain in gums can be due to it but pain in sinus region and headache can be due to sinus inflammation and you should consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and investigations like PNS View of sinuses can be done to rule out the exact cause of sinus and facial pain and headache..
Other thing that I would like to tell you is that you should limit the intake of excessively hot food and very hard foods..
In case of pain in gums you can gargle with numbing mouthwash and take Ibuprofen for pain on face and headache..
Suck on ice pops and do cold water rinses..
You can also use decongestant nasal drops and if you get improved it further qualifies sinus inflammation..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
