What Causes Painful Urination?

HI I think I have a Uti because I feel a lot of pain when I urinate. Apple cider vinegar seemed to help ease the pain. My doctor gave me sulfamethox so that also helped but now I am more concerned about the pimples that have shown up all around that area. It is even painful to walk. I am not sure if this is a reaction to the uti or something else like an STD. Any advice would help!?

Hello,

Painful urination is regarding the infection-induced irritation of urethral wall with nerve endings mediated pain. Simple urinary infections are not associated with agonizing pimples around genitals that warrant evaluation for underlying STD most likely.

I strongly recommend to consult your doctor immediately regarding this to get necessary evaluation in form of blood and urine tests.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
