What Causes Painful Urination And Radiating Hip Pain To The Knees?
2 weeks ago I was unable to Urinate and I Severally was in pain, went to the E.R and they checked my urine and did blood check, nothing wrong, but they put a Foley Catheter in and gave me pain medication. Next day went to my Doctor and he took out catheter and gave me a box of self catheters I tried and tried couldn t go. Went back to the E.R. after 8 hrs and not able to go another Catheter. I have had it in for over a week now and I have really dark urine and thread like blood tissue and white crumbs of tissue my side really hurts my bladder hurts and it s hard to sit and walk. From my pelvis to my knee there is a streak of pain

As from your history i suggest to rule out urine culture as well as ultrasound abdomen to rule out kidney stone.
as complaint of dark urine and blood tissues may indicate urinary tract infection or kidney stone which may passed from kidney to bladder may injured the wall of ureter.
frequent usage f catheter may also cause infection in the tract.
