What Causes Painful Swollen Mouth And Itchy Eyes?

I recently started using Crest Pro Health Intense Cleaning toothpaste, now it feels like it has burned the inside of my mouth. Whenever I try to eat anything my mouth burns and swells. Also, I noticed that my skin around my eyes I very dry, itchy and peeling. Could this be and allergic reaction to the toothpaste and what can can I use to clear it up?

The problem that you have seems like an allergic reaction but it can be confirmed only after evaluation by a dentist. Please avoid using the toothpaste and visit your dentist as soon as possible.

Dentist, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Dr. Mahesh Kumar T S's  Response
Thanks for your query, I have gone through your query.
The painful swollen mouth and itchy eyes and burning sensation can be because of the allergic stomatitis secondary to allergic reaction to the tooth paste. Nothing to be consult a oral physician and get it evaluated. Mean while you can use topical anesthetic like lignocaine gel and topical steroid like triamcinolone acetonide.
I hope my answer will help you, take care.
