The
menstrual pain is due to strong contractions of uterine musculature ,,, so as to squeeze out the blood / It can be due to pin point cervix / Pelvic congestion.
Panadol is a
paracetamol based pain medicine & Ponston is non steroidal anti inflammatory drug. You can take either of them which ever is useful ... can be taken twice a day after food ( 12 hourly ) Combining both may cause acidity. To have better effect -
- take rest.
- Try sleeping over abdomen / hot fomentation or light abdominal
massage.
- Avoid excessive caffeine, alcohol or tobacco.
- tab. Dysmen ( mefenemic &
dicyclomine HCL combination ) over the counter twice a day after food,
-doing regular exercises reduce the pain gradually.
- If there is no relief.. visit a gynecologist for further advise
-after first child birth the pain vanishes completely
