What Causes Painful Movable Lump Near Rib Cage?
I have like a bump near my rib cage on my left side. It's not big maybe 1/3 size of a golf ball. I can move it around a little. It sometimes hurts when I get full of food or I run lot. I have had it for like a year and it hasn't grown or gotten smaller. I think I got it because one time I slept on the floor and I was laying on my ribs. And you know that feeling you get when you lay on your stomach for a while and your ribs hurt? That's what I felt when I woke up the next day. And then I noticed a bubble thing around the middle of my rib cage on my left side. And I thought it was going to go away but it hasn't and I'm just worried if it's maybe it's something bad. Its not because in getting old because I'm only 14 years of age. So it has to mean something. I just hope it's not bad

dear friend don't worry. as you described it does not seem bad disease occured to you. it seems 'lipoma', mostly occurs as movable lump under the skin.
but proper examination of lump can bring final diagnosis. so please consult your family doctor first and got examined by him.
