HI
Well come to HCM
Abscess formation is very likely because of some bacterial infection, if the lesion is containing the pus then this need to be drained, and antibiotic need to be started, if I would be treating doctor then I would first drain the pus evacuate all the debris if this is lymph node then this need to be scoop out, treat the wound with antibiotic cream or ointment.
1) Tab Amoxicillin with Clavulanic acid twice in day
with proper line of treatment this would be fine soon, take care, and have a nice day.
