What Causes Painful Legs?

Should there be cause for concern if the top of the legs are aching. The right aches more than the left. It feels like a dull tooth ache. My father died when he was three years younger than I am now. The symtoms before his fatal heart attack where aching arms and legs. I am not a smoker and he was. My arms are okay, just my legs off and on today.

Hi
Welcome to healhcaremagic
After going through your query I concluded that you are concerned about deep vein thrombosis as you are concerned about heart attack as your father died due to heart attack. You can get your venogram to rule out deep vein thrombosis. For pain you can take analgesic such as ibuprofen for pain relief. You can discuss with your Doctor about it. Hope your query get answered. If you have any further questions then don't hesitate to writing to us . I will be happy to help you.
