What Causes Painful Knot In Shoulder With Tingling Numbness In Hand?

I have what feels like a knot in my upper back right shoulder area, and pain shooting down my right arm, as well as tingling numbness in right hand off and on. The pain seems to get worse when I bend my head down, or to the right. The pain keeps me up at night. This had been going on for about a month now... with some days worse than others. Been under a lot of stress as well lately.

Cause of your symptoms may be fibromayalgia and need to rule out cervical spine disc pathology.
Can give a trial of local diclofenac ointment application and shoulder physiotherapy .
